Burnout is real. Let's fix that...
Burnout is real. It is especially real for those becoming Data Analysts.
There are so many skills you need to learn and not just technical ones to land a job.
That's why having a goal in mind can help motivate you while you push through the learning phase, power through the project phase, and hammer away the applying phase.
A goal is different for each and every person
But what are some goals?

Financial
The most common one would be financial goals.
For most people, even the lowest entry-level salaries are a huge increase in salary
With more money, comes less stress and freedom.
Keep in mind, that you will most likely have great benefits and bonuses/incentives as well.
In all, data analytics is a well-paying career path, with salaries that reach 6-figures, depending on factors such as experience, industry, and location.
Having a financial goal can help individuals set clear targets for their earning potential and work towards achieving those targets.
Work/Life Balance
This is one of the top reasons that people are flocking to become a Data Analyst. It's the work/life balance that comes along with most positions.
With most data jobs becoming remote, you can expect these benefits moving forward:
- Prevent burnout
- Improved productivity
- An increase in job satisfaction
- Promotes physical and mental health
I know there are people out there who like going into the office but I have never met a remote worker who hates the remote life.
Working Remote
If you have never worked remotely before, I would recommend this being a goal that once you achieve it, you won't go back to a normal office job again.
Little things such as working when and where you want gives you much more flexibility than other jobs.
And let's not forget, you won't have to sit through traffic ever again while commuting. That's a bonus in itself with all the money you save on gas.
And of course, if you have a family or looking to start one, being able to never miss out on the milestones your child has is something I won't live without now.
Fin
You might not have one of the goals listed above but it is important to find your own goal and stick to it.
Take the small sacrifices to get to your goal. You will be happier in the end.
That's all for this week
Talk to you soon.
